In Cairo Montenotte in the province of Savona, Giuseppe Buttiero uses
original family recipes to produce typical sweets such as “amaretti”, “baci di
dama”, “pandolce”, “chifferi” and biscuits. The ingredients are rigorously
genuine and natural and the packaging very careful.
Very special and
appreciated are the amaretti biscuits, round and soft, made with sweet and
bitter almonds of Italian origin, egg whites and sugar to which are added
ingredients peculiar to the territory such as chinotto marmalade, a slow food
presidium, or Pernambucco rare orange marmalade, produced in nearby Finalborgo,
or Cairo honey.
Produced and mixed in small quantities, dosed by hand, they are packaged
individually in the flo pack to preserve freshness and conservation.
