Authentic taste, wild elegance, and a constant search for purity amid evocative scents and tastes that recall ancestral bodily memories: these are the liqueurs produced by Origine artisans.
In Valbormida, 40
kilometres from Savona, perched on the heights of the ancient village of Cengio
Alto, the Origine laboratory, using the most advanced technologies, produces
distillates such as the first Italian vodka from organic farming and liqueurs obtained
through cold maceration of certified organic medicinal herbs without using
chemical essences.
"The production
of artisanal liqueurs with tonic and digestive properties is part of a practice
that is lost in the mists of time. It was the ancient recipes, typical of our
area, that were the starting point for the modern production process of our
workshop, say Luca Graffo and Alessandro Pancini, owners of the workshop. Our
most successful products are the liquorice liqueur, digestive and refreshing,
and the chamomile liqueur, but also fennel, juniper and the classic mint and
lemon. Don't miss the 'Uomo Nero' (the Black Man), a nocino (walnut liqueur)
made according to the traditional recipe of the Bormida Valley, and the coffee
liqueur'.
