"Stoneware, porcelain and terracotta are the materials we are passionate about".
Monterosso is one of the villages, the
westernmost, of the Cinque Terre, the splendid natural scenery known throughout
the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since 1982, two families of ceramic
artisans have been working here. Their products, shapes and colours summarise
all the poetry of this incomparable environment, which was not by chance the
favourite of the great Italian poet Eugenio Montale.
"Stoneware, porcelain
and terracotta are the materials we have been passionate about since 1982. Over
the years, our work has been enriched with new ideas and shapes without ever
abandoning the craftsmanship aspect that is both inspiration and reason for
continuous research".
The Fabbrica d'Arte with manual skill and
craftsmanship produces objects of use and decoration such as the "fish in
a box", the visions of the 5 terre, bowls and lamps. A new idea, the line
in hand-painted terracotta "trepertrè", allows you to compose and at
the same time decompose a single large panel creating the ideal landscape that
the customer wants.
