The antique chocolate factory, Romeo Viganotti, dates
to 1866, and it still uses the machines and the
molds of that era in its artisan workshop. Its traditional
products are boeri (chocolate-covered, liquor-filled
cherries), pralines, liquorini (liquor-filled chocolates),
fantasy spiced milk chocolate, juniper- flavored chocolate
and rose oil drops. The recipes, ingredients,
workmanship, and secrets have been passed down
through generations. Each chocolate is hand-crafted
with patience and love, little “jewels” for over 150
years.
