L’Isola Che Non C’è (The Island that Wasn’t There)
is a majolica workshop that offers decoration
and original custom-made solutions for ceramic
and artisan works.
Using traditional techniques, the
phases of work-manship are many, and include
painting after the first firing, with decoration placed
on top of the painted areas, then a second firing
in the oven. This is how souvenir dishes, name plates,
pottery, crockery, and more exclusive pieces
like lamps and tables are made with tiles.
