Gismondi Atelier's jewellery and ornaments are entirely handmade with great care and extreme attention to detail, in full respect of the goldsmith's tradition.
Compared to industrially produced jewellery,
handmade jewellery is distinguished by the care taken over the finishing, the
possibility of being personalised at the customer's request and the advantage
of being able to be designed with future maintenance, repair and modification
work in mind. In the goldsmith's workshop, located inside the atelier, the
starting point is always the raw metal and the fusion of all the elements of
the gold alloy in order to obtain sheets or threads of gold in different
colours: white, green, yellow, pink or red. The colour of the gold, as well as
the mechanical resistance, are never random but are studied and decided in
advance for each jewel and object according to its characteristics. The forge
also carries out restoration or restyling of antique jewellery, all types of
repairs, and engraving and gilding to make customers' jewellery unique and
inimitable.
