Mauro Fioravanti, born in La Spezia in 1963, began his photographic journey in the early 1980s.
Growing up with technique and creativity, he was admitted to the Master course of the Click Up professional photography school in Florence and subsequently to the advanced and professional photography course at the University of Genoa. In 1995 he started his career as a professional photographer.
In its 25 years of activity, it has tried to tell with images the wonderful landscape of the 5 Terre in Liguria, included by Unesco in the World Heritage List.
He has received prizes and awards in various national and international photographic competitions: among others in 2007 he was selected among the finalists of the National Geographic Italy competition and awarded by Rotary La Spezia; in 2009 and 2010 he was invited by Olympus Italia to present his photography in the Milan and Rome Photoshow.
Awarded the Bertelli prize in 2011 in Bologna; was selected in the Italian team of 12 professional photographers admitted in 2014 to the World Photographic Cup in Phoenix (USA) and in 2015 to the World Photographic Cup in Montpellier (France).
He has exhibited his works in various cities including New York, Genoa, Bologna, La Spezia, Carrara, Vico del Gargano and others.
He is a photography teacher and speaker at photographic conferences, he was President of the Professional Photographers Association of La Spezia until 2018, Member of the National Association of Professional Photographers and Digigraphie by Epson Artist.
Art director of the photography festival “Golfo Foto Festival” La Spezia from 2008 to 2010.
He is the author of the photo books:

His images are on display in the Art photo Gallery of Monterosso al Mare.
