The restaurant, Il Timone opened its doors around 1960 when Portovenere was not yet the tourist magnet that it has now become. It offered its clients tradition Ligurian dishes along with Italy’s favorite excellence, pizza.
Today, following in the footsteps of her parents, Antonella continues the tradition in a setting that though it has been totally renewed, still has the typical tones of Liguria.
