The Hérisson ceramics workshop, opened in 2002
in Noli on the Riviera, specializes in making unique
pieces using the techniques of ancient potters.
Clay is modeled on the potter’s wheel, by rolling,
by hand, or by collage for series productions. The
decoration that is put on the majolica is in antique
Ligurian styles, showing floral or marine subjects,
or landscapes. Hérisson can customize decoration
upon request. It also does raku ceramic pieces,
paying, as always, careful attention to the quality
of each single creation.
